Messing with templates

I just found the templates for this blog lol. I like this lay out better, but am looking threw the rest too in case there is a better one. You can make comments now too.

Last grand prix of the year has just finished, a pretty good race in the end. Shame Jenson Button had engine trouble and went out at the start of the race. Long wait till next year now for more F1.
Been messing with car graphics a bit, repainting Mclaren F1's. Allso downloaded the Le Manns track night version, so am learning the track lay out. All goes well in GTR our best season todate so far, and the new second team GTR Moonbase (55662) is building up slowly. Home life is good, Ryan is here for the holidays. Gonna cut the old bean plants down this week with Ryan, did well from them gave loads away. Keep happy, more to follow soon.

I have been working on a new drawing in my time off, been doing it a few days now. It looks ok but I am not happy with the detail yet so more work to be done. Not much really going on at the moment, off to do some shopping in a while but that is about it.
Been thinking about the global distribution of wealth for some reason, how uneven it is. Did you know 'The richest 1% of people in the world received as much as the bottom 57%, or in other words, less than 50 million people received as much as 2.7 billion poor" this was taken from http://www.lboro.ac.uk/gawc/rb/rb93.html . I wonder what the world would be like if there was a cap on personal wealth, lets say a million (pounds or dollars). Then all the extra cash is taken and divided between the rest of the population. I wonder how much we would all end up with, and would the world be any better for it.
Ok things to do be back soon, keep happy.

I often talk of going into town, it is a nice little walk. Today I took my camera with me and took some pics of the canel path part of the walk into town. On the page in the link you have a couple of options first is the delay between pictures in seconds, also if you want fullscreen or not. Once set click the first thumbnail picture and the slideshow will begin. I found around 4 or 5 seconds ok for the delay setting. OK here we go a stroll down the canel path toward the centre of Kidderminster 15 October 2005 take one, http://www.moonworld.co.uk/holistic/pictures/canel/index.html

I wish my monitor would stop flickering. Now going to update a link on my website.

This world is fantastic!
It is a shame that we as a group do some really crazy things to it.
What is the point in having more than you need? Is there any really!
Money seems to be more important to most people than the well being of our home, the Earth.
This is crazy to me.
What is the worst crime anyone could commit? I would say taking anothers life.
Most religions express this view that life is sacred. How can it be that so called religious people can kill other people in the name of religion, or for any reason.
Killing is not right.
I have just finished reading a book by Isaac Asimov called "Foundations edge" , a good book I really enjoyed it. Anyway in the book it mentions the three laws of robotics I will list them incase you do not know them,
First Law: A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
Second Law: A robot must obey orders given it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
Third Law: A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Well in the book it is mentioned that these laws could be placed on humans looking like this,
First Law: A Human may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
Second Law: A Human must obey orders given it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
Third Law: A Human must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
Maybe the second law would need re-wording a little, but overall sounds ok to me. Would make a lot more sense than the way some people choose to live.

Why are so many people ready to just believe with out question. Should it not be that we seek our own truths, and not those presented by others. There are so many things that I have come to know, things many people have no idea of. We are imprinted from childhood with information and points of view that are accepted by the society we live in. I will choose as an example Darwin’s theory of evolution. It is accepted as the general theory of how we and all things on this planet came to be how we are today. I had always just believed it was correct and the truth. After reading I discovered that there are theories that dispute much of the Darwin theory as incorrect. Why did none of this get mentioned in school. Now I have to question many of the main stream theories.
I am cooking a roast dinner tonight, cannot recall the last time I did a roast. Feeling better about being off work again now, I am going to make the most of the extra time. Last time I was off work I became very down feeling that I was usless not pulling my weight. I know it is for the best and will be better for it. I am, and will remain my happy self.

Been busy on forums all over the net, just looking around at stuff in general. Have decided to be more selective about where I post from now on. Have removed a couple of posts from my guest book. The sun is out and I feel good.

Just been to see the Doctor he has signed me off sick for a month, but will renew sicknote until my hernia operation comes up. Not my first choice of options but as he said it will only get worse. Rang work and told them, will go in on Monday and have a chat about the situation. I need to look now and find the positive side of this. Bit gutted really, I like my little job.

Been doing a few more bits to my site, not much just small details. Added a few new sayings to the guest book today. Just taking things easy, no plans for today.
After all the stuff with Cannabliss I thought it worth saying that when I first heard about his forum being deleted I sent him a message. The message was an offer of help, when I was a member of his forum I had a couple of backups of his forum. They may still be on disk or on my spare hard drive. My offer was to look and see if I still had any backup files and let him have them if found. For what ever reason he has decided not to reply to my offer.
