Local history

I now live in a small town called Kidderminster. Rowland Hill was born in Kidderminster in 1775, he was the founder of the penny post in 1840. Being an ex-Postman I found it interesting and, while out walking around the town spotted this on an old empty building that looks like it was used as a post office at some time in the past.

Sad that I would feel the need to say that... but here in the US I run into so many people that are unfamiliar with the place in which they live ...
